JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Kawasaki sudah mengungkapkan kalau tahun ini akan meluncurkan motor listriknya. Memang, saat Eicma November lalu, sudah dipamerkan versi prototipe dengan bodi Ninja dan Z.
Dikutip dari Motorcycle, dua motor listrik Kawasaki ini sedang dihomologasi di Australia. Lalu, resmi juga keduanya diberi nama Ninja e-1 dan Z e-1.
Pada homologasi tersebut, termasuk gambar modelnya versi siap dijual. Pada tampilannya terlihat sama dengan prototipe, ditambah aksen tulisan e-1 saja di bagian belakangnya.

Baik Ninja e-1 maupun Z e-1, tampilannya seperti versi bensin, tepatnya yang 400cc. Cuma, pada versi homologasi ini, terlihat ada perubahan sistemp pengereman yang mengacu ke Ninja 300 dan Z300.
Kawasaki juga sudah mengumumkan, kedua motor akan dilengkapi dinamo 11 kW atau 14,8 TK. Tapi berdasarkan spesifikasi, tenaga yang keluar dari motor tersebut cuma 9 kW atau 12,1 TK (rated).
Pada data homologasi juga diumumkan kalau keduanya punya wheelbase 137 Cm yang sama dengan Ninja 400 dan Z400. Soal bobot Z e-1 sekitar 135 Kg dan Ninja e-1 lebih berat 5 Kg.
Bobot tadi belum diketahui apakah dengan baterai atau belum. Kawasaki sendiri bilang, kedua motor akan dilengkapi dengan dua batereai yang bisa dilepas, masing-masing bobotnya 12 Kg dan total kapasitasnya 3 kWh.
Ninja e-1 dan Z e-1 menjadi motor alternatif dari BBM biasa yang dihadirkan Kawasaki. Selain itu, Kawasaki juga menyiapkan model dengan mesin hybrid dan hidrogen yang termasuk ke lini produk di 2024.
Selain itu, pada penamaan e-1 jadi terbayang kalau nanti ke depannya ada versi e-2 yang lebih bertenaga. Jadi e-1 bisa dibilang untuk pemula, sedangkan e selanjutnya punya tenaga yang lebih buas.
