Jimmy’s professional life was marked by commitment and service. Initially, he demonstrated reliability at Food World in Fort Payne, AL before later leaving behind an outstanding legacy at Sam’s Club with decades of hard work as an employee there. Jimmy saw his profession not as a simple means of support; rather it symbolized his dedication to providing for his family while making meaningful contributions to his community.

Passion for Sports

Jimmy loved following Georgia Football and Atlanta Braves with great passion, not only as a way of passing time but also to create bonds between himself, friends, and family. These games offered him moments of excitement, joy, and togetherness that brought pleasure to all involved.

Jimmy was first and foremost a family man. He took great pleasure in spending time with his loved ones, particularly cooking out and being involved with their lives, especially his grandchildren’s activities – something which proved his dedication as a loving grandfather. Cherished Relationships

Jimmy will always be remembered by Lisa Day Williams, his beloved wife of 39 years. Additionally, his children Justin (Emily) Williams, Allison Lyons and Blaine Woody as well as grandchildren Elijah Williams and Maddox Baker will cherish his memory. Additionally, he enjoyed having various nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom he deeply loved in his life.

Community Members Will Say Farewell

On January 31st at Noon at Mason Funeral Home Chapel, members of Jimmy’s community will come together to bid him farewell and celebrate his life through memories, love, and respect for one of their own. Afterward, he will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery surrounded by generations of community members.

Honouring His Memory In honour of Jimmy, family and friends will gather to pay their respects to him with an active pallbearers procession including Blaine Woody, Lance Peevy, Alan Mowry, Charlie Woody, A.J. Vangurp and Jarrett Vangurp as active pallbearers while honorary pallbearers including Greg Day, Sawyer Mowry Cannon Mowry Maddox Baker Tucker Woody Koi Dodd Corey Day Casey Day to pay their respects as this gesture represents how much Jimmy meant to so many and how much their deep reverence for him as their lives were his legacy.

On Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at Mason Funeral Home, friends and well-wishers will come together in tribute to a life well lived that is marked by love, commitment, and strong bonds to others.
