i know this is going to sound silly, but I’ve just had to stop an argument with mum’s interim carer regarding where to put the disposable bed pad.
Mum is sometimes incontinent overnight, so she wears pull-up pads, we have a kylie sheet over a standard mattress protector (about to order a waterproof mattress protector after a few minutes reading on this forum!) and I thought the disposable bed pad went under the top cotton sheet. The carer remade the bed today, after an accident last night, and put the bed pad on top of the cotton sheet. I said, no it goes under, and so we started, until I stopped it, and helped mum to lie down for the night.
