CRANSTON, R.I. — Camilla G. Grande (née Tucci) of Cranston passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2023 at the age of 99, leaving behind her loving family and lifetime of memories.

Born in Providence to parents Anthony and Anna (Pitocco) Tucci, Camilla was a pillar of her community in Cranston for most of her long life. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Grande, as well as her parents and brothers Rudolph and Fred Tucci.

Camilla leaves behind her sister Margaret Brodeur, brother Anthony Tucci, her three children Linda, Dennis and Donna, their spouses John and Janice, six grandchildren, Anthony, Lisa, Kristen, Caitlin and three great-grandchildren.

The matriarch of her large family, Camilla will be remembered for her strength, wisdom and overflowing love that held her relatives together. Her kitchen was the heart of every gathering, filled with laughter, great food and an open door. She had a knack for making every person feel welcomed.

A lifelong communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Cranston, Camilla’s faith was the bedrock that guided her grace, generosity and caring spirit. She lived the values of her beliefs through small, consistent actions that made life sweeter for all those around her.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Camilla will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Camilla’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family welcomes memories and condolences which may be left on Camilla’s memorial page. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on through the family she loved. May her spirit carry on through their stories, shared over future kitchen tables for years to come.
