I have experienced this with my stepmum. I think she visits the bathroom frequently for something to do. When she eventually finds the bathroom she forgets what she went there for, unless reminded, and usually ends up brushing her hair.
She'll also say she needs the bathroom, though doesn't drink much I fear of needing the bathroom.and not being able to find it. Oh dear!
