Sementara Rebel, dimensinya lebih ramping. Panjangnya 2.205 mm, lebar 820 mm, dan tingginya 1.090 mm. Tinggi joknya juga 690 mm dan bobotnya hanya 191 kg. Tapi, tangki bahan bakarnya lebih kecil dengan kapasitas 11 liter.
Di sektor mesin, Vulcan S memiliki mesin yang lebih besar. Mesinnya parallel twin, DOHC, 8 katup, berpendingin cairan, dengan kapasitas 649 cc.
Vulcan S memiliki karakter mesin overbore. Diameter pistonnya 83 mm dan langkahnya 60 mm. Tenaga yang dihasilkannya mencapai 60,1 tk pada 7.500 rpm dan torsinya hingga 63 Nm pada 6.600 rpm.

Rebel sendiri menggunakan mesin parallel twin, DOHC, berpendingin cairan, dan kapasitasnya hanya 471,03 cc. Tenaganya hingga 44,9 tk pada 8.500 rpm dan torsinya mencapai 43,6 Nm pada 5.500 rpm.
Rebel memiliki mesin berkarakter square. Pistonnya berdiameter 67 mm dan langkahnya 66,8 mm.
Untuk suspensinya, baik Vulcan S maupun Rebel, sama-sama menggunakan suspensi depan model teleskopik. Sedangkan suspensi belakang, Rebel menggunakan sokbreker ganda yang bisa diatur di bagian preload. Vulcan S menggunakan sokbreker belakang Offset laydown single-shock, linkage-equipped, yang juga bisa diatur di bagian preload.

Soal fitur, kedua motor ini bisa dibilang sama-sama sederhana alias minim fitur. Vulcan S menggunakan panel meter kombinasi analog dengan digital. Sistem pencahayaannya juga belum mengadopsi teknologi LED, masih mengandalkan lampu bohlam biasa.
Rebel masih lebih canggih, karena lampu depan dan lampu belakangnya sudah LED. Panel meternya juga seluruhnya digital.
Di bagian pengereman, Vulcan S dan Rebel sudah mengandalkan rem cakram, baik pada bagian depan maupun belakang. Selain itu, didukung juga dengan fitur Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

Vulcan S hanya tersedia warna hitam saja. Motor ini dibanderol Rp 189,9 juta (OTR Jakarta). Sementara Rebel, dipasarkan Rp 191,96 juta (OTR Jakarta) dengan tiga warna pilihan, yakni hitam, putih, dan biru.
